Study on Theoretical Prediction Method of PBXs Uniaxial Tensile Compressive Strength Ratio based on Microcrack Model

Abstract Strength is an important characteristic of material mechanical properties. Based on the microcrack model and considering internal friction effect between crack surfaces, uniaxial tensile compressive strength theoretical which can reflect anisotropy materials derived established by using initiation criteria maximum circumferential stress strain, coefficient Poisson’s ratio. By introducing TATB based PBXs parameters, tension compression ratio calculated strain are 0.293 0.471 respectively, with errors -10% 44% respectively compared experimental value 0.326; The failu re angles 29.52 ° 19.44 respectively. Compared values 24 30 (average 27 °), 9% -28%, analysis shows that criterion more suitable for construction model.
